Architecture is not just any form of art, it’s a discipline for me. Architecture is not just a skill it should be a professional skill. And in any move you make in reality you are always responsible for what you design and build. And Architecture is not just some job to design and build, And we should not forget that we don’t just design any ordinary structure, But we design one of the three main “man’s needs” which is shelter.
Being an architect is truly life changing. In everyday of your life. You will meet different people with different ideas. And in those different ideas, you will learn a lot and a whole new ideas will pop out your mind. It is amazing how people would react in your designs and ask did you really designed this?. It feels great if your designs are could not just shelter people but helps them with their daily living. As an architecture student, I wanted to be an architect whose design would impress and improve the living of individuals.
As an Architect, Standing out against the other competitors would be the challenge. Designing for clients would be one of the main objectives that would also help me to stand out in this race against other competitors. If I could make a lot of clients happy and satisfied it would be great, but making a client more than happy and satisfied would not just seal the deal but could possibly improve my ratings and could open up into new possibilities and other doors.
10 years from now. I envision myself to be designing with famous Architects of the world. Creating new and open ideas to improve the world in living in a green Architecture. And creating more habitable places that would impress our clients and target clients. And 10 years from now I would have started the construction of my own house that is inspired by the ziggurat in modern and green Architecture design. I would also like to make cities rise and each building to be inspired by the hanging gardens of Babylon. If each building are required to have vegetation, plants, trees in their rooftop or filling up their property area with any vegetation would greatly increase the lost of our green planet. I have this dream that if each person in the world would plant two or as much as they could. The world could regain its purity and a better cycle of life.
At this point I am into a hybrid of modern and green architecture. While modern architectures uses peaceful ambiance and green Architecture is into saving the nature and materials that is approved to our nature. Maybe someday this could be called earth architecture. An architecture designed to be one with our planet. That is compatible and won’t hurt our eco system.
Honestly, there are a lot of designs that would make me uncomfortable, like old designs made with rotting woods aren’t exactly my type. I’m into modern right now. Even though we are in technological advance. There are still clients that prefers old fashioned way. In this situation I will reply to them in such a way that it would not interfere with the fashion of what they wanted. But instead I would be happy to greatly improve their ideas that would fit them and make them more than happy and satisfied with their idea and my idea.
